Your performance of "Once" on this guitar in Dallas of 2022 was the most emotionally moving and expressive piece of art I had heard in a long time. I lost my mom that year, and when I hear you play I always think of her. She was originally introduced to your music by a co-worker who had went to one of your live shows. He gave her Peace Machine on CD and said, "you're gonna be really into this guy, and I bet you've never heard of him before. Throw this in on the way home." After that ride home, she was hooked, and knew I would be, too. She was right, and it quickly became my go-to car jam. When I was younger, I made several attempts to learn guitar, unsuccessfully. My lifelong love and passion for music is something I have always wanted to explore more by playing. I really didn't know how to approach the idea again, but I recently stumbled across a Strat of my own. It was screaming at me to give this another go, because it really is something I know I am supposed to be doing with my life. You have been one of my greatest inspirations, not only as a listener and fan, but as a hopeful guitarist that can share with others as you do.
